The Junior Buyer will manage the « Source to Pay » process for indirect categories, delivering the best procurement solutions for the Company in terms of cost savings, quality and supplier performances, in compliance with best practices and Company procedures.

Main responsibilities:

• Analyse the market to find the best opportunities and suppliers to be invited in the tenders for the following purchase categories: Corporate Services - marketing, consultancies, travel - Packaging materials, Industrial supplies, Facility management, IT, CAPEX;
• Issue tender enquires, analyse, negotiate and evaluate bids;
• Collaboration with the legal office for the revision of contracts;
• Conclude contracts, frame and price agreements with suppliers;
• Act as procurement process owner establishing strong cross-functional working relationship (e.g. internal customers, legal office, finance, controlling…) in order to deliver tangible bottom line results;
• Participation in the needs analysis phase with internal customers in order to clearly define the technical requirements of the products/service to be provisioned by suppliers. When needed, the buyer will support the internal customer in drafting the technical specifications (Scope of Work);
• Execute administrative procurement activities (e.g: management of Purchase orders, supplier homologation…);
• Support and train other departments to ensure compliance with the Group codes of practice and procedures.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in procurement;
• Experience in indirect categories is a plus;
• Master degree in Economics or Engineering;
• MS Office (in particular Word, Excel, Power Point);
• SAP is a plus;
• Basic knowledge of procurement practices;
• Knowledge of Project Management methodologies.
