Job Opportunity: Junior Business Controller

Adecco Italia Spa, on behalf of an Italian subsidiary of a multinational company in the In Vitro Diagnostics/Medical Devices sector, is seeking a:

Junior Business Controller

The successful candidate will join the Administration and Control department within the Corporate Business Controlling team and will be responsible for:

1. Managing material master data, calculating standard costs and pricing.
2. Analyzing and valuing inventory, calculating turnover ratios, and assessing slow/no-moving stock.
3. Preparing periodic reports on sales, profitability, order portfolio, and inventories.
4. Extracting data to create ad hoc analyses and reports.
5. Drafting the managerial income statement for business divisions and analyzing performance against previous year and budget.
6. Monitoring expenses by cost center and analyzing variances from the budget.
7. Participating actively in the budgeting process across group companies, supporting functional management.

The candidate will interface with various group functions (Production, Logistics, Marketing and Sales, Accounting) to share analyses, understand business specifics, and collaborate on process improvements.

Requirements

• Degree in Economics or Management Engineering.
• Good knowledge of SAP (FI, CO, MM, and PP modules) and BI tools.
• Excellent command of Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in manufacturing or commercial companies.
