RINA is seeking a Junior Bridge Engineer to join our Civil Engineering team in Naples, Italy. The role focuses on planning, designing and maintaining bridge structures under supervision, with exposure to regulatory codes and project coordination.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field and has internship experience in bridge engineering, plus familiarity with SAP2000, LARSA or MIDAS Civil. Willingness to learn and grow is essential.

Competenze

• Internships or co‑op experiences in bridge engineering are beneficial.
• Basic familiarity with structural analysis software (SAP2000, LARSA, MIDAS Civil) desirable with willingness to learn.
• Understanding of fundamential engineering principles related to bridge design, load analysis and material properties.
• Eagerness to learn and apply relevant design codes and standards (e.g., AASHTO LRFD) under supervision.

• Bridge Design and Analysis: design and analyze bridge structures considering load, materials and environmental factors.
• Utilize engineering software to model and simulate bridge behavior under various conditions.
• Project Planning: collaborate with PMs and disciplines to develop plans, timelines, and resource estimates.
• Regulatory Compliance: ensure designs meet local, state, and national codes; stay updated with standards.
• Structural Assessments: inspect existing bridges to evaluate integrity and identify maintenance needs.
