We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Biologist t o join Tethis’ team as a Laboratory Technician. The successful candidate will assist in performing advanced biological analyses, with a focus on cell biology techniques, microscopy, immunofluorescence, and fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH). This role is ideal for an early-career biologist who is eager to apply their knowledge in an innovation-driven laboratory environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct biological experiments and analyses with a focus on cellular biology.
• Perform advanced microscopy techniques to visualize and analyze biological samples.
• Execute immunofluorescence, brightfield staining, and FISH assays for diagnostic and research purposes.
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment, including microscopes and imaging systems.
• Prepare, handle, and process biological samples according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Document experimental results accurately and maintain detailed lab notebooks.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure the timely completion of projects.
• Adhere to safety and quality control protocols to maintain a compliant laboratory environment.
• Participate in training sessions and contribute to process improvements.

Ideal Candidate Profile :

• Master's degree in biology , Cellular Biology, Biotechnology, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of hands-on experience in a laboratory setting.
• Proficiency in cell biology techniques, including microscopy and immunofluorescence.
• Experience with FISH (fluorescence in situ hybridization) is highly desirable.
