A leading certification body in Italy is seeking a qualified Information Security Auditor. The role includes planning and conducting ISO 27001 audits, managing client relationships, and leading audit teams. Candidates should have a related degree and experience in information security auditing. Excellent English skills and teamwork abilities are essential. Competenze

• 4 years of practical experience in information technology, including 2 years in information security.

Purpose of the position

Delivering Information Security audits (ISO 27001) for different clients with support of Operations Manager, Planning Team and working closely with other functions (Compliance & Risk, Sales)

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities & accountabilities

Planning, conducting and reporting management system audits and training courses

• Auditing and delivering training courses as required.
• Planning audits (logistics, audit plan, contacting client, organizing remote online sessions, etc.)
• Conducting the audits as required by BSI procedures
• Prepare audit reports and deliver findings to clients to ensure client understanding of the assessment decision and clear direction to particular items of corrective action where appropriate.
• Recommend the issue, re-issue or withdrawal of certificates, and report recommendations in accordance with BS policy, procedures and prescribed time frame.

Lead auditor tasks

• Leading Audit teams as required ensuring that team members are adequately briefed so that quality of service is maintained and that effective working relations are sustained both with clients and within the team.

Competence management

• To complete required training and qualification activities.
• To maintain and develop assessments skills and technical and management system standards knowledge.

Client management

• Management of relationship with client, including planning, communications, requests, etc.,
• Establish and develop an effective partnership which secures the commercial relationship and encourages opportunities for business development and increased client satisfaction with clients in your portfolio.

Provide accurate and prompt information to support services, working closely with them to ensure that clients records are up to date and complete and that all other internal information requirements are met.

Plan / schedule workloads to make best use of own time and maximize revenue-earning activity.

Coach colleagues as appropriate especially where those members are inexperienced assessors or unfamiliar with client’ business / technology and assist in the induction and coaching of colleagues as requested.

Support the development of projects as required.

• Requirements

Qualifications & knowledge

• Information Technology related degree (computer sciences, telecommunications) at university level.
• Knowledge of information security and cybersecurity (ISO 27001), information security regulations (GDPR) and auditing will be considered as added value.

Experience

• 4 years full time practical workplace experience in information technology, of which at least 2 years are in a role or function relating to information security.
• Information technology experience at medium / high technical and / or management role (Systems Analyst, Information Security Officer, Service Delivery Manager, Project Manager,)

Other skills

• Good level of English for daily use in writing and oral form
• Ability to work with a team in a multicultural environment and in a matrix organization
• Ready to deliver on site and remote audits
