BBVA is seeking a Junior General Ledger and Accounts Payable Accountant to join our Corporate & Investment Banking Finance Area in Milano. You will support management control, cost monitoring, and supplier payment workflows in a dynamic, international setting.

The ideal candidate has about 2 years' accounting experience, strong Excel and ERP familiarity, and a proactive, collaborative mindset to thrive in a diverse team and deliver accurate financial records on time.

Competenze

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics or related field.
Approximately 2 years of accounting or administration experience.
Experience with accounts payable, reconciliations and closings.
Familiarity with ERP systems and MS Excel.

Mansioni

Supplier onboarding and approval.
Review of contractual documentation and the accounts payable cycle.
Recording, checking and payment of invoices.
Account reconciliations and review of outstanding items.
Processing of travel expenses.
Support for periodic and year-end closings.
Monitoring of actual costs versus budget and variance analysis.
Participation in the annual cost budgeting process.
Maintenance of VAT and fixed asset registers.
Accounts receivable invoicing and related controls.
Review and accounting of fees relating to services provided to and received from Head Office, ensuring accuracy, correct accounting allocation and compliance with deadlines.
Support with tax compliance and tax payments, as well as preparation of documentation required for reviews, audits and internal controls.
