About the Position

The Jr Consolidation Accountant, reporting to the Group Head of Accounting, will be accountable for accurate, compliant, and timely consolidated financial reporting for the Group. The role strengthens the Group Finance function by managing intercompany reconciliations, consolidation entries, and supporting the preparation of IFRS‑EU consolidated financial statements. This position contributes to business continuity, process efficiency, and audit readiness in a complex multi‑entity, multi‑jurisdiction environment.

Responsibilities
  • Review consolidation entries, intercompany reconciliations, and bundle entries to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist in the administration and user support of consolidation systems.
  • Document and maintain clear schedules for consolidation journals and supporting schedules.
  • Support the preparation and drafting of consolidated financial statements under IFRS‑EU.
  • Identify and resolve legacy issues, optimize workflows, and implement best practices.
  • Provide guidance and training to local finance teams and stakeholders.
  • Serve as backup coverage in critical consolidation processes to safeguard operations.
What you bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2‑3 years of professional accounting experience, ideally in Consolidation or GL roles, preferably within an international environment.
  • Good understanding of IFRS and its application to financial reporting.
  • Knowledge of Consolidation principles.
  • Knowledge in ERP systems (S4Hana is a plus).
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
