Job Description:

Join Thermo Fisher Scientific's European Engineering team as an Electrical and Automation Engineer with experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Contribute to innovative projects that impact global health and safety.

Main responsibilities include:

1. Support budget preparation for electrical engineering and automation projects.
2. Ensure compliance with technical specifications and user requirements.
3. Analyze offers and communicate preferences.
4. Negotiate with suppliers/contractors ensuring adherence to budgets and schedules.
5. Oversee project execution, ensuring compliance with safety laws, budgets, and specifications.
6. Coordinate project handover, including acceptance tests.
7. Support plant start-up and validation activities.
8. Verify documentation completeness before handover.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of lighting systems, smoke and gas detection, access control, video surveillance, HVAC
• Experience with electro-instrumentation systems and electrical system architecture (medium and low voltage)
• Proficiency with Autodesk, Navisworks, Revit
• Fluent in English (written and verbal)
• Strong communication skills and adaptability to multi-functional environments
• Willingness to travel worldwide

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of MS Project
• Experience with ATEX systems
• Construction management experience for electrical systems
