QSRP is seeking a Jr. Account Payable Specialist to join our Finance Department. If you are interested and prepared to take on this responsibility, we want to hear from you!

Mission :

Reporting to the Accounting Manager based in Antwerp, the Accounts Payable Specialist will verify proper payment approval and process payments promptly.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Matching supplier invoices to purchase orders and proofs of receipt
2. Obtaining payment approvals for non-cost of goods sold invoices
3. Entering supplier invoices into payables software
4. Issuing notices to suppliers regarding rejected invoice line items
5. Processing expense reports and procurement card payments
6. Alerting managers when expenditure exceeds budgets
7. Discussing payment proposals with local management
8. Incorporating supplier credits into payments
9. Researching supplier payment requests
10. Updating the supplier master file
11. Reconciling accounts payable with the general ledger

Main requirements :

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business Administration is preferred
• Up to 3 years of experience in accounting principles and bookkeeping
• Good knowledge of SAP
• French language skills are a plus
• Proficiency in Excel
• Ability to work independently and proactively
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Adaptability to fast-changing environments
• Effective communication skills to collaborate across departments and cultures
