A leading defense contractor is seeking a highly qualified Journeyman Telecommunications Equipment Installer and Repairer to support US Army requirements in Italy, managing installation and removal of telecommunications equipment. Ideal candidates should hold relevant certifications, possess a strong skill set in Microsoft Office, and have the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders. A Secret security clearance is mandatory. The role includes potential evening and weekend work, and travel may be required.

Competenze

• Must hold an active in scope Secret security clearance.
• DCWF 4 1 1 Certifications required: CND, GFACT, GSEC, or Security+.
• Mentorship experience preferred.

• Performs cable plant installation, set-up, and removal operations.
• Performs removal of switching, distribution, routing, and dialing equipment at end-user locations.
• Bachelor’s degree w ith 3+ y ears of experience or AA w ith 5+ y ears of experience, or h igh s chool w ith 6+ y ears of relevant experience .
• Required DCWF 4 1 1 Certifications: C ND or GFACT or GSEC or Security+
• An active in scope Secret security clearance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint for document management and various administrative tasks.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders .
• Proven support experience, assisting contractor management with various tasks and projects.
• Demonstrated history of discretion, independent judgment, and self-direction.
• Normal office conditions with potential to perform duties in deployed locations.
• Core hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 0600 – 1700
• May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs.
• It is anticipated that contractor personnel will be required to travel on Temporary Duty (TDY) to various CONUS and OCONUS locations based on USAREUR-AF and Mission Partner requirements.
