Job Description:

Software Test Engineer Electronics

Pierburg Pump Technology Italy S.p.A. in Torino is seeking a Software Test Engineer Electronics.

Key Tasks:

• Agreement on test scope and parameters of SW tests with project management electronics
• Creation of test specifications for SW testing
• Programming and operation of (automated) SW test systems
• Execution and documentation of internal software tests
• Investigation of failures and troubleshooting assistance

Qualifications:

• Degree in electrical engineering or similar
• Understanding of SW development according to Automotive SPICE
• Good system understanding of mechatronic systems, especially operating systems
• Knowledge of model-based SW development and programming languages C / C++
• Experience with automated (SW) test system “Tessy”
• Understanding of assembler programming
• Knowledge of AUTOSAR is an advantage
• Experience in software testing of embedded automotive systems is preferred

Additional Requirements:

• Proficiency in spoken and written English
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office tools
• Willingness to travel occasionally for business
• Ability to adapt quickly to new topics and teams
• Team player with good communication skills
