JOB DESCRIPTION

As a member of a Sales & Digital Channels Software Centre, the candidate will work in a complex, challenging and exciting enterprise level environment with a strong commitment towards results and collaboration.

The candidate will become part of the Quality & Test Automation group, responsible for ensuring high quality digital products that meet business needs, with ongoing support from engineers.

As a Quality & Test Automation engineer, you will:

• Coordinate and execute tests to ensure high quality solutions and system performance, report test results, track issues, and ensure resolution during testing phases.
• Develop methodologies, plans, scenarios, and test cases for digital products during all development phases.
• Provide guidelines on quality assurance strategies, proactive governance, and risk management throughout the software lifecycle.
• Work closely with Business Analysts and Product Owners to define acceptance criteria and verify product behavior.
• Define and execute test strategies, plans, schedules, scripts, and cases related to the project.
• Collaborate with software engineers to troubleshoot issues and review code before release.
• Analyze business requirements for accuracy, completeness, redundancy, and testability.
• Develop test automation strategies and test suites for different products.
• Maintain tracking tools with test cases, sets, and defects; report results and track issue resolution.

Qualities and references:

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, or related fields.
• Experience in web and mobile quality assurance, testing, programming, and governance of medium to high complexity projects.
• Problem-solving skills, creativity, and proactivity.
• Accountability and good time management.
• Understanding of customer journeys and business requirements.
• Knowledge of automation and performance testing tools (Cypress, Jenkins, Postman, Selenium, Appium, k6).
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
