In the Clinical Immunology Laboratory of Prof. h.c. (RCH) Dr. med. Winfried Stöcker, up to 1,000 sera are examined daily under the guidance of laboratory physicians. The diagnostic repertoire for autoimmune diseases is one of the most extensive worldwide.

Our modern medical laboratory, committed to high scientific standards, is seeking to fill the position of Head of the Informatics Department to establish a new, independent laboratory management software system.

We are currently looking for an experienced software developer, with expertise in technologies from the 1990s / 2000s.

Your tasks :

• Development and maintenance of software solutions based on 1990s technologies.
• Collaborating with other developers and specialist departments to optimize existing systems.
• Conducting code reviews and ensuring code quality.
• Troubleshooting and maintaining existing applications.
• Participating in planning and designing updates and migrations.

Your profile :

• Degree in computer science or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in software development, especially with 1990s technologies.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages such as C, C++, Visual Basic, or similar.
• Experience with databases like dBase, FoxPro, or early SQL versions.
• Familiarity with operating systems such as MSDOS, Windows 3.1 / 95, or Unix.
