The Tübingen Regional Council has a wide range of tasks in the areas of environmental protection and nature conservation, energy transition, climate protection, mobility and transport, education, healthcare, migration, agriculture, market surveillance, and many other forward-looking topics. Position Available

At the Tübingen Regional Council, the following position is available in Department 11 - Organization, Information and Communication - at the earliest possible date:

IT Specialist (f/m/d)

Full-time, limited until 30.09.2026 (reference number 25048)

Responsibilities:

1. Monitoring the IT infrastructure
2. Support for the specialist processes of the assigned departments (1st & 2nd level support)
3. Coordination and implementation of software and hardware requirements of the assigned departments
4. Creation and maintenance of user instructions in the work area
5. Further development, adaptation, and configuration of workstation hardware
6. Administration of Microsoft Active Directory, including group policy management and mailboxes
7. License and contract management
8. Administration and further development of the network infrastructure
9. Setting up computers and peripherals for new employees and providing necessary training

Your Profile:

1. Completed training as an IT specialist in application development, system integration, or comparable qualification
2. Equivalent skills and experience from several years of relevant professional work
3. Experience with LAN infrastructure and LAN security
4. Good knowledge of Windows Server and Linux operating systems
5. Proficiency in administering Microsoft Active Directory
6. Willingness to work in a dynamically changing environment with analytical thinking and independence
7. Commitment, teamwork ability, and resilience
8. Good written and verbal communication skills
9. Class B driving license preferred

Compensation:

Employment is based on the collective agreement for the public service of the federal states (TV-L). If the requirements are met, salary will be in pay group 10 TV-L, with additional benefits such as an annual bonus and pension scheme (VBL).
