A multinational jewellery company is seeking a creative Jewellery Designer in Milan. The role involves researching trends, creating designs, and developing new jewellery products. The ideal candidate should have 4-5 years of experience, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in design software. This is a full-time, permanent position with responsibilities that include domestic and international travel.

On behalf of our esteemed Customer, a multinational Company, we are recruiting the following profile :

JEWELLERY DESIGNER / LUGANO

Duties and responsibilities

1. Research new trends and conduct market analysis;
2. Create and present design moodboards and colour charts for each season;
3. Develop new jewellery products / concepts that are consistent with business strategy, considering trend research and internal collection analysis;
4. Execute designs that meet business goals and objectives;
5. Create designs through sketching / rendering, developing technical drawings and assembled samples as needed to meet business objectives;
6. Create drawings, technical sheets, graphics and seasonal look books;
7. Develop jewellery lines from sketch proposals to rendering, including technical specifications;
8. Review calendar and ensure deadlines are respected, reminding involved parties;
9. Travel domestically and internationally as needed;
10. Participate in exhibitions, fashion shows, and technical presentations;
11. Visit manufacturers or trade shows, market browsing.

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous experience (at least 4 or 5 years) in the same role and field (Jewellery Design);
• Highly creative;
• Strong knowledge of fashion Jewels and upcoming related trends with commercial awareness;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with a diverse group at all levels;
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-up;
• Experience working with cross-functional teams;
• Available for frequent travelling;
• Fluent in English;
• Proficiency in Rhino or Matrix, Keyshot, Office, Outlook, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop are mandatory.
