About the job:

As a Senior Software Developer, you will build desktop and mobile AI apps using the new Tether SDK.

Responsibilities:

AI-Driven Desktop Integration:

Develop and maintain backend services and APIs powering AI-enhanced desktop apps, supporting features like local inference, contextual awareness, and model interaction, especially for Electron-based or hybrid clients.

Platform-Aware API Design:

Work closely with desktop and React Native teams to shape APIs that reflect platform constraints, ensuring native responsiveness and cross-platform consistency. Manage concurrent model invocations, GPU/CPU workloads, and request throttling for smooth AI performance.

Requirements:

• Experience with desktop app development (Electron, Tauri, etc.)
• Experience with React Native or integrating backend systems into mobile/desktop stacks
• Performance and resource optimization on desktop/mobile clients
• Participation in developing complex platforms
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly
• Good understanding of security practices

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with secure inter-process communication
• Knowledge of Peer-to-Peer technologies (Kademlia, BitTorrent, libp2p)
• Skills in C++, Swift, Kotlin
• Experience with AI/Agentic applications (RAG, AI SDKs)
• Familiarity with real-time data streaming (NodeJS, etc.)
