  • GFIC recruits for a global food ingredients company, specifically for the role of Sales Manager - Nutritional, Cosmetical, and Functional Food Ingredients.
  • This position is home office based with regular visits to the head office in Germany.
  • Important qualifications include experience selling supplements to food, cosmetic, and pharmaceutical B2B clients in Italy, particularly to contract manufacturing companies or within CMO companies.
  • The ideal candidate is highly sales-driven.
Tasks:
  • Responsible for business development and sales in nutritional supplements, cosmetical, and functional foods.
  • Selling phytonutrients, herbal extracts, specialty chemicals, and intermediates used in the industry to B2B clients.
  • Travel approximately 50% of the time to meet B2B customers.
Requirements:

Qualification and competence requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in B2B food ingredients or supplements sector.
  • Background in sales & marketing.
  • A scientific degree in food technology, biochemistry, chemistry, pharmacy, biology, or a related field.
  • Fluent in English and Italian.
