Our client –Retail company in the medical products sector– is looking for a Sales Director for Italy.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Define short- and mid-term sales strategies based on market trends and customer needs; ensure high-quality planning and execution while continuously optimizing and developing the sales organization.
  • Achieve annual sales targets in revenue, volume, profitability, and market share, in line with the business plan and KPIs.
  • Lead and inspire sales teams to success; develop and implement sales strategies and action plans aligned with company values (Demant Values).
  • Define and monitor retail performance metrics to ensure operational excellence.
  • Build and maintain a highly engaged and motivated sales force.

Requirements :

  • Over 10 years of experience in Sales Management, with a strong track record of leading Area Managers;Preferably with experience in retail sales environments;
  • Experience in retail during change management initiatives is considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement structured sales strategies with a focus on quality execution.
  • Strong customer orientation with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and a compelling value proposition.
  • Experience in developing service strategies for the retail sector, with a strong consumer focus.
  • Solid understanding of business management, finance, and retail performance indicators.
  • High flexibility and willingness to travel frequently across Italy.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.
