To support our operations in Italy, we are seeking an enthusiastic and efficient Italy receivable accountant to join our FinOps team.

Your position:

You will pursue a career in finance and accounting, working with numbers and collaborating with internal teams (finance, logistics, sales). Your focus will be managing customer accounts and accounting processes for Italy within our regional team.

Your responsibilities:

• Manage accounts receivable in Italy;
• Build strong relationships with customers and optimize accounting interactions;
• Handle claims and deductions, working with sales and supply teams;
• Adjust invoices as needed and ensure prompt collections;
• Post customer payments according to bank statements;
• Ensure timely remittance of received payments;
• Provide bi-monthly KPIs on open balances, overdue invoices, and claims;
• Coordinate with IT on invoicing issues;
• Assist in month-end closing, including sales ledger, accruals, tax declarations, and statutory documents;
• Have prior successful experience in a similar role;
• Possess good understanding of the retail landscape in Italy;
• Excel skills are required;
• Speak both English (good level) and Italian (native or fluent);
• Be self-organized, autonomous, and able to prioritize;
