In order to support our business in Italy, we are looking for an enthusiastic and efficient Italy receivable accountant to join our FinOps team.

Your position:

You want to pursue your career in finance and accounting, you love numbers and working as a team with all internal stakeholders (finance, logistics, and sales team). You will be responsible for our customers and all accounting matters for Italy, joining our regional accounting team.

Your responsibilities:

• Manage accounts receivables in Italy;
• Build strong relationships with customers and improve accounting processes with them;
• Handle claims and deductions, working with sales and supply teams;
• Make invoicing adjustments and ensure prompt collections;
• Post customer payments according to bank statements;
• Ensure timely remittance of received payments;
• Provide bi-monthly KPIs on open balances, overdue invoices, unprocessed claims, etc.;
• Coordinate with IT on invoicing issues;
• Support month-end closing, including sales ledger, accruals, tax declarations, and statutory documents.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role;
• Good understanding of the retail landscape in Italy;
• Proficiency in Excel;
• Fluent in English and Italian;
• Self-organized, autonomous, and able to prioritize;
• Reliable and quality-focused;
• Respectful of commitments and deadlines;
