To support our business in Italy, we are seeking an enthusiastic and efficient Italy receivable accountant to join our FinOps team.

Your position:

You will pursue a career in finance and accounting, enjoy working with numbers, and collaborating with internal stakeholders (finance, logistics, sales). You will manage our customer accounts and accounting for Italy within our regional team.

Your responsibilities:

• Manage accounts receivables in Italy;
• Build strong relationships with customers and improve accounting processes;
• Handle claims and deductions, working with sales and supply teams;
• Make invoicing adjustments and ensure prompt collections;
• Post customer payments aligned with bank statements;
• Ensure timely remittance of payments;
• Provide bi-monthly KPIs on open balances, overdue invoices, claims, etc.;
• Coordinate with IT regarding SDI invoicing issues;
• Support month-end closing, including sales ledger and general accounting tasks like accruals, tax declarations, and statutory documents.

Candidate requirements:

• Experience in a similar role;
• Good understanding of the retail landscape in Italy;
• Proficient in Excel;
• Fluent in English and Italian;
• Self-organized, autonomous, and able to prioritize;
• Serious, organized, and committed to quality work;
• Respectful of commitments and deadlines;
