Overview

My client is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager to lead their commercial development across the Italian animal nutrition market. This role will focus on swine and poultry production, supporting a portfolio of specialty feed additives designed for performance and sustainability.

This is a strategic position offering autonomy, strong internal support, and significant growth potential.

Responsibilities
  • Drive business development across Italy for a range of specialty feed products
  • Build and maintain relationships with feed manufacturers, integrators, and distributors
  • Provide on-farm technical support and deliver data-backed recommendations
  • Collaborate with innovation and marketing teams to support new product rollouts
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments
  • Report sales activity using a CRM system and contribute to strategic planning
  • Negotiate and implement commercial agreements
Requirements
  • Fluent in Italian; working proficiency in English or Spanish required
  • Degree in Animal Science, Veterinary Science, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in animal nutrition or feed additives
  • Strong technical knowledge of swine and/or poultry production in Italy
  • Proven success in account management and consultative sales
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%
