NSPA in Italy seeks an IT professional with strong experience in information systems, development, and systems administration to join our team in Lentini. The role requires SAP modules knowledge, ABAP/4, C#, .NET, and SQL within a Microsoft/Oracle server environment.

Fluency in English is required; French language skills are desirable. The position offers a three-year contract with a tax-free monthly salary, expatriation benefits, health coverage, and generous leave, reflecting NATO's commitment

JOB DESCRIPTION (See link to the full job description in the blue box)

• Complete secondary school or equivalent education.
• Experience in the Information System (IS) field, and more particularly in development and systems administration.
• Good knowledge in the area of eBusiness and web technologies, including the standards applicable and the software/hardware environments and architecture used in implementing them.
• Experience in providing support in an IT/IS customer-oriented support environment.
• Proven ability to prepare, write and maintain technical system documentation.
• Ability to support systems/technical environments managed by other personnel.
• Functional and technical knowledge of the main modules of SAP and practical experience in Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP/4).
• Experience with the Microsoft development tools: C#, .NET Framework and Structured Query Language (SQL) in an environment consisting of Microsoft and Oracle servers and systems.
• Experience with web technologies, including the security and architecture aspects.
• NATO's official languages are English and French. The work of this post requires fluency in English, while working knowledge of French is desirable.

POST DETAILS

• Basic monthly salary: EUR 5, 376.14 tax free - before insurance and pension contributions.

IMPORTANT NOTES

Qualified redundant NATO civilian candidates of the same grade will be considered in priority.

Interviews are expected to be held approximately six weeks after the application closing date. The Talent Acquisition and Development Office shall let you know in due course the outcome of the screening process.
