NSPA - NATO Support and Procurement Agency is seeking an Information Systems and Technology professional. The role requires strong development and systems administration experience, with SAP ABAP knowledge and Microsoft tools expertise.

Fluency in English is essential, with French desirable. The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining technical documentation, supporting complex IS environments, and working within a NATO context that values security and robust architectures.

Competenze

  • Complete secondary school or equivalent education.
  • Experience in the Information System (IS) field, and more particularly in development and systems administration.
  • Good knowledge in eBusiness and web technologies, including the standards applicable and the software/hardware environments and architecture used in implementing them.
  • Experience in providing support in an IT/IS customer-oriented support environment.
  • Proven ability to prepare, write and maintain technical system documentation.
  • Ability to support systems/technical environments managed by other personnel.
  • Functional and technical knowledge of the main modules of SAP and practical experience in ABAP/4.
  • Experience with the Microsoft development tools: C#, .NET Framework and SQL in an environment consisting of Microsoft and Oracle servers and systems.
  • Experience with web technologies, including the security and architecture aspects.
  • NATO's official languages are English and French. The work of this post requires fluency in English, while working knowledge of French is desirable.

  • NATO's official languages are English and French. The work of this post requires fluency in English, while working knowledge of French is desirable.
WHAT DO WE OFFER?
  • Initial three year contract with competitive monthly tax-free salary (subject to Article 19 of the Ottawa agreement on exemption of Taxation)

POST DETAILS
  • Basic monthly salary:EUR 5,376.14 tax free - before insurance and pension contributions.

IMPORTANT NOTES

Qualified redundant NATO civilian candidates of the same grade will be considered in priority.

Interviews are expected to be heldapproximately six weeks after the application closing date.The Talent Acquisition and Development Office shall let you know in due course the outcome of the screening process.

Moreover, due to the broad interest in NSPA and the large number of potential candidates, telephone or email enquiries cannot be dealt with.
