This role involves organizing training and providing helpdesk support, ensuring user proficiency and satisfaction in IT services. Descrizione del lavoro

The resource will join the Italian IT team and provide support to the Firm by reporting directly to the IT Manager Italy.

  • Key responsibilities

The role involves the following key responsibilities in the area of IT training :

  • Organizing, scheduling and delivering training and representing our group in all regional or global initiatives
  • Preparing reports on training when required (minimum once a month)
  • When required, creating ad-hoc training manuals or tip-sheets
  • Aligning the Helpdesk's findings with a training strategy, working closely with this group
  • Upgrading training content on a yearly basis or when new versions of tools become available
  • Coordinating with HR, relevant welcome sessions and other training initiatives
  • Working closely with the IT Manager and other trainers within the region in order to align training, communications and different related projects
  • Integration in the SE Regional training team, supporting ideas and initiatives launched within this framework
  • Supporting Best Delivery initiatives locally

In addition, the role will provide helpdesk support to the second line Service Desk support team in the areas described below

  • Providing user equipment support and maintenance
  • Dealing with asset management tasks (i.e., in relation to desktops, laptops, printers and other peripheral devices)
  • Providing IT and audiovisual equipment support for on and off-site meetings and events
  • Supplying business desktop software support
  • Recording incidents, problems, requests for assistance using a mandatory global incident management tool (currently Remedy)

Providing out-of-hours help desk support to users on a rotating basis (with other members of the IT Department), either remotely or, when necessary, on site.

  • Skills, Qualifications & Experience

The successful applicant will :

  • Have at least two year's previous experience in a similar position, and, in particular, providing IT training to users
  • Be an excellent communicator, a good listener, client-focused, collaborative, open to and stimulated by working as part of interdisciplinary teams, have an agreeable manner and a patient but rigorous approach to dealing with problems and people
  • Be fully familiar with training management tools and processes
  • Be totally fluent in Italian, with good level of English

In addition, the following will be an advantage, but are not an essential requirement for the role :

  • Knowledge of Lean IT Methodology or Scrum certification or experience
  • Holding a technical qualification in either computer science, computer systems or education & training qualification with demonstrable experience in a training role
