Our experts provide tailor made solutions based on a wide range of savoir-faire in energy management with a strong focus on decarbonation and decentralization.

Our clients span the entire value chain: producers, asset developers, financial players, utilities, distributors and industrials. Our global reach and strong local presence enable us to offer these diverse clients tailor-made services and respond to rapid changes in mature or emerging markets alike.

Our 3 expertise:

  • Asset management
  • Energy supply , providing green energy & innovative solutions

At S&EM we encourage breakthrough results, team spirit, curiosity and innovation while preserving the right work/life balance for you.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?:

We are seeking an Integration Architect, a senior technical figure to act as our internal technical authority and the guardian of our digital ecosystem's consistency. In an environment driven by SaaS platforms (Salesforce, Billing systems) and solutions developed by external partners, this role is critical for governing complexity by blending a high-level vision with a concrete capacity for technical intervention.

You will be responsible for the integration strategy for the entire B2B transformation program. You will follow the group standards that all partners must adhere to, and serve as the go-to person for resolving cross-platform issues. Your mission is to transform a set of heterogeneous systems into a single, cohesive, and high-performing architecture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Governance of Vendors: Analyze and validate the technical solution proposals from external partners. Ensure their designs are robust, scalable, and aligned with our strategies.
  • API & Integration Strategy Definition: Design and document the company's API strategy. Define the interface "contracts" (API contracts), security standards (e.g., OAuth2), and protocols that all systems, internal and external, must comply with.
  • Architectural Review Board: Act as the primary technical reviewer and approver for all new integrations and architectural changes proposed by the different teams.
  • Tactical Development & Prototyping: Develop and maintain 'glue code' components (e.g., automation scripts, small cloud functions, custom connectors) to facilitate integration or bridge functional gaps not covered by vendors. Build functional Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and prototypes to validate new technical approaches.
  • Cybersecurity Oversight: Ensure that all integration solutions adhere to the company’s cybersecurity policies and best practices. Collaborate with security teams to identify risks, enforce security-by-design principles, and guarantee the protection of data across all systems.
ABOUT YOU:
  • A degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering).
  • Experience in the technical management of external vendors and in reviewing technical documentation produced by third parties.
  • Proven experience of 3+ years in an Integration Architect role.
  • Deep knowledge of microservices architecture, API Gateways, enterprise integration patterns, and security protocols.
  • Ability to communicate authoritatively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You must be able to technically challenge a vendor and, at the same time, explain complex concepts to the business.
  • Previous experience within the Energy & Utilities sector is a strong advantage.
  • Solid and recent hands-on development skills (e.g., in Python, Node.js, Java, or C#). The ideal candidate has not left coding behind, but instead uses it as a strategic tool to automate, prototype, and solve complex integration challenges.
  • Hands-on experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and/or event-driven systems (e.g., Kafka).
Type of contract:

Permanent contract according to local labour law.

Salary:

The gross annual salary for the role ranges between € 41.500 and € 49.000, depending on experience and level of seniority.

At ENGIE, every talent has a role to play in accelerating the energy transition. Make a difference and enjoy a fulfilling professional experience. Take on exciting challenges and build a career path that reflects who you are.
