SBM Offshore is seeking an IT Solutions Quality Team Lead to ensure quality assurance and quality control for software developments. You will manage a team of quality engineers and act as the primary liaison for quality-related matters with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring deliverables meet the required quality standards.

The role requires a Master’s in CS/SE, ISTQB/CMSQ, strong English, and at least 7 years in software quality with 3 in leadership.

• ISTQB or CMSQ certification required.
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal).
• Strong communication skills to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

• Proven experience defining and implementing software quality strategies, test policies, and quality standards.
• Hands-on experience in test planning, test management, defect management, and validation across functional, integration, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing.
• Experience leading and mentoring quality engineers, coordinating test activities, assigning priorities, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with development, product, and operations teams to embed quality throughout the lifecycle.
• Experience establishing quality gates, test automation practices, and reporting on quality metrics and risks.

Purpose

• As IT Solutions Quality Team Lead you ensure quality assurance and quality control for software developments. Education

Experience

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in software quality assurance, testing, or quality engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role overseeing quality practices across multiple projects or products.
• Proven experience defining and implementing software quality strategies, test policies, and quality standards to ensure consistent delivery of reliable, secure, and high-performing solutions.
• Strong hands-on experience in test planning, test management, defect management, and validation activities across functional, integration, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing.
• Experience leading and mentoring quality engineers, coordinating test activities, assigning priorities, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with development, product, infrastructure, and business teams to embed quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Experience establishing quality gates, test automation practices, and reporting on quality metrics and risks to support informed decision-making and delivery readiness.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban, with experience integrating quality assurance processes into fast-paced delivery environments.
