We are offering an exciting opportunity for the position of IT Solution Specialist - Full Stack Developer. In this position you will play a crucial role to design and implement IT solutions for DHL Supply Chain operations, ensuring efficient integration of logistics, transportation, and engineering systems, but also will guide implementers in executing activities to optimize software usage and ensure operational performance meets requirements.

What will your responsibilities be?

1. Act as techno/functional architect in shaping new IT solutions as well as in improving the existing platforms to support DHL Supply Chain warehousing operations across EMEA region. Actively seek and adopt the latest IT technologies, ensuring that the solutions are leveraging the best available capabilities available on the market.
2. Own development tasks, either executing personally and organizing external vendors, both around back-end and front-end components.
3. Provide training and support to local IT teams to effectively adopt and operate those solutions, in alignment with how they were designed.
4. Ensure robust rollout, go-live and post-live support, serving as the primary contact for issue resolution and/or escalation.

You won’t find another IT Solution Specialist - Full Stack Developer position like the one you’ll find with DHL Supply Chain. Now, here’s what we need from you:

1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in software development.
2. Must-Have Skills:
1. Technical Expertise: Strong experience in designing and building RESTful microservices using Python and Java.
2. Containerization Concepts: Familiarity with containerization concepts, including build, deployment, and orchestration.
3. Nice-to-Have Skills:
1. Frameworks: Experience with FastAPI, Django, and Quarkus.
2. Container Technologies: Previous experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
3. Version Control: Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
4. Mobile and Web Development: Good understanding of Android application development and mobile/web application development.
5. Database Knowledge: Knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL (Document DB) databases, e.g. SQL Server, MongoDB.
6. Monitoring Tools: Knowledge and experience with Prometheus and Grafana.
4. Experience in project management with a proactive and solution-oriented attitude, familiar with agile methodologies.
5. Bachelor’s degree in IT Computer Science, or equivalent proven experience.
6. Business Proficient in English.
7. Previous experience in logistics or production IT environments is a plus.
