About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced IT Solution Designer & Tester - Applications Operations to join our IT Applications Operations team. You will report to the Applications Operations Manager. Your responsibilities include supporting the design, implementation, and management of tools and procedures for managing the application lifecycle from adoption to retirement.

Your role is critical in ensuring applications are developed, maintained, and retired in a structured and efficient manner, aligning with best practices and industry standards.

You will work with a company adopting a wide range of applications and technologies, with a strong focus on SAP ABAP, SAP S / 4, SAP Cloud Solutions, SNOW, and various cloud / on-premise / mobile applications.

Main Responsibilities :

• Design, implement, and improve tools and frameworks for managing application lifecycles.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with application lifecycle management, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
• Ensure procedures are in place to enable development adhering to architectural principles, coding standards, and best practices.
• Implement and manage pipelines to automate and streamline development, testing, and deployment processes.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of ALM processes, architectures, and rationales.
• Explore and evaluate new technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance ALM processes and improve application quality, performance, reliability, and delivery time.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, functional teams, and project managers, to ensure alignment and seamless integration of ALM processes.
• Work within a motivated, international team, providing guidelines and support for ALM topics.

Who we are looking for :

• A graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related IT qualification.
• Proven experience (3+ years) as an ALM Solution Designer or similar role, with a strong understanding of application development, deployment, and maintenance (on-premise, cloud, and mobile applications).
• Proficiency in ALM practices, tools, platforms, and knowledge of IT and Project Management Frameworks (ITIL, PMP / PRINCE2).
• Strong analytical skills, a structured approach, and problem-solving orientation.
• Excellent verbal, written, and non-verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple requests and projects.
• Ability to organize, control topics, meet deadlines, and analyze data.
• Knowledge of MS Office Suite and fluency in written and spoken English.
