The Position

In the position of IT Service Technician you will provide technical support and maintain IT systems across our organization.

Furthermore, you will:

1. Install and configure computer hardware, telecommunication components, and peripheral devices, ensuring proper testing and delivery to users.
2. Manage end-to-end ticketing for IT incidents/requests, maintaining documentation and compliance with SLAs.
3. Perform systems diagnostics, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, and collaborate with vendors and maintenance teams for resolution.
4. Support new hires with IT tools and onboarding, conduct repairs and upgrades for PCs, and manage video conferencing equipment.
5. Oversee daily data backups, equipment maintenance in server rooms, and assist in implementing security updates and policies as needed.

Qualifications

To be successful for this position, you have a bachelor degree in or IT technical diploma and previous experience in an IT Service Technician role within a global manufacturing environment, preferably in the chemical or pharmaceutical sector.

In addition, you have:

1. Consolidated knowledge and managerial autonomy in Information Technology within multinational, complex corporate structures.
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and a strong understanding of VLAN infrastructure and enterprise network security technologies, including firewalls.
3. Familiarity with the latest technology trends and advanced IT systems relevant to the industry.
4. Fluent in both spoken and written English.
5. Knowledge of SAP is a plus.

About the Department

The IT Anagni department is responsible for supporting IT systems and IT network and infrastructure. Located at our Anagni Site, the department focuses on both business end user PCs and Manufacturing systems assuring that these operate as per their design, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and contributing to process improvement initiatives. Join us and be part of a collaborative team dedicated to excellence in manufacturing operations. You will join a team of 10 fantastic professionals in various roles reporting directly into the IT site manager. The team has SMEs for Network, IT infrastructure, IT/OT systems, Automation systems, ERP, Quality systems, Logistic, Compliance and Data Integrity.
