Stefanini Group is seeking an OT Technical Lead to deliver and validate end-to-end OT cybersecurity solutions through controlled pilot deployments in live factory environments around the Bologna area. The role ensures both security and operational effectiveness while supporting the scale-up of a global cybersecurity initiative in collaboration with OT, IT, and local operations teams.

You will coordinate vendors, drive testing and validation, and ensure adherence to OT security standards.

Competenze

• Hands-on experience as an OT Consultant, OT Engineer, or OT Security Specialist with solid field expertise in OT/IT integration.
• Technical knowledge of OT network segmentation, segregation, zoning.
• Understanding of security risks and guardrails around remote access, OT asset visibility, and asset monitoring.
• Experience coordinating technical teams and external vendors in industrial environments.

• Translate approved OT cybersecurity designs and recommendations into executable pilot technical packages.
• Assess implementation against approved architecture, standards, and policies, identifying design gaps and factory-specific constraints.
• Propose pragmatic technical and operational countermeasures and improvements to the reference technical package.
• Act as the remote technical lead during the pilot phase, coordinating local OT, IT, and acting as a bridge between global and local Operations teams.
• Ensure pilot implementation and testing activities are safe for production and aligned with plant constraints.
• Coordinate and technically steer external vendors (OEMs, integrators), ensuring alignment with pilot scope and targets.
• Drive the validation of the delivered configurations and outcomes, and coordinate functional, integration, and security testing during pilots.
• Troubleshoot OT/IT/cyber issues across networks, firewalls, access paths, and tools.
• Ensure compliance with OT security standards and internal policies, supporting the assessment of cyber risk reduction.
• Produce structured pilot documentation, including configuration reports, test scripts, user manuals, procedures, and lessons learned.

Job Requirements

• Hands-on experience as an OT Consultant, OT Engineer, or OT Security Specialist with solid, field expertise in OT/IT integration
• Technical knowledge of OT network segmentation, segregation, zoning
• Understanding of security risks and guardrails around remote access, OT asset visibility, and asset monitoring
• Experience coordinating technical teams and external vendors in industrial environments
• Ability to drive technical testing, troubleshoot complex issues, and validate resilience and operational impact
• Strong documentation and reporting skills, with attention to detail
• Experience with risk assessment, compliance verification, and risk mitigation planning
• Agile, solution-oriented mindset with clear accountability in dealing with internal and external contributors
