Selection 4.0, a technologically advanced company specializing in the search and selection of Middle and Top Management profiles at a national and international level, is seeking to fill a position for a:

Our client is a well-known multinational insurance company.

The IT Operations role is part of an Agile and DevOps approach, acting as the guarantor of Production throughout the project lifecycle.

This role is key in gathering and ensuring production requirements: contributing to the technical solution definition, maintaining the stability of technical environments (Production / Non-Production), and monitoring and supervising solutions. The person will participate in project team meetings and be involved in collective activities and decisions (assessing complexity, risks, etc.) throughout the project. They will identify best practices in application production and share them.

The person will be responsible for managing and resolving incidents/problems/changes in production environments.

Main Activities:

• ITOps Role: Production guarantor, involved in defining technical solutions and ensuring the stability and usability of technical environments (backup/restoration, data access, performance, etc.)
• Incident Management: Coordinate and resolve incidents, problems, and changes in production environments.
• Collaboration: Participate in project team meetings and collective decision-making.
• Best Practices: Identify and share best practices in application production.
• Technical Support: Provide analysis, monitoring, and performance improvement of applications.
• Compliance: Anticipate compliance issues with architecture and security standards and rules.
• Training: Train and support team members in using Agile & DevOps tools.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of production in collaboration with the Applications Production Support team.

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience working in international teams;
• Good written and spoken English;
• Experience in IT Risk and Cybersecurity areas;
• Experience in developing and acting on processes;
• Experience in setting up monitoring systems;
• Ownership of projects;
• Ability to inspire others and generate commitment;
• Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies;
• Knowledge of the DevOps chain (Gitlab, Artifactory, Jenkins, SonarQube, Mattermost, Ansible).

Technical Requirements for the Position:

Work Location: Hybrid - 2 days at Milan HQ (center) + 3 days smart working

Salary Range: Approximately €45,000 to €55,000 depending on candidate skills
