Job summary

Stefanini Group is seeking an IT Logistics and Shipping Operator in Turin to support logistics and shipping for IT equipment. The role combines hands-on operations with administrative tasks and shipping coordination, with full training provided.

Contract: 6 months fixed-term, 100% onsite, 40 hours/week. Salary starts at 28,000 EUR gross/year with benefits under the Terziario Commercio CBA and opportunities for professional development across Europe.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environments.
• Intermediate knowledge of Excel or other spreadsheet tools and ERP.
• Ability to operate a forklift (preferred).
• Italian: Excellent written and spoken proficiency
• English: Upper-intermediate written and spoken proficiency

Job description

We're looking for an IT Logistics and Shipping Operator to support the logistics and shipping of IT equipment for an international company based in Turin. The role combines hands-on logistics support with administrative tasks and shipping coordination. Full training will be provided, and all relevant tasks and procedures will be explained internally.

Logistics Responsibilities

• Receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming goods;
• Preparing orders and shipments (domestic, EU and non-EU);
• Moving goods between warehouse and other company areas using forklift, pallet jack and small carts;
• Loading/unloading trucks and managing receiving and shipping areas;
• Supporting inventory activities;
• Maintaining order and cleanliness in the warehouse (aisles, shelving, staging areas);
• Waste management (collection, separation, disposal according to regulations);
• Organizing empty or damaged packaging/pallets.

Administrative Responsibilities

• Prepare and review shipping documentation, including p roforma invoices, commercial invoices, p acking lists, d elivery notes (DDT), e xport and customs documentation.
• Resolve transportation issues and delivery delays with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.
• Managing administrative waste records (register entries)
• Process shipping transactions on carrier portals or with transports brokers.
• Maintain shipment records and documentation filing systems.

Job Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environments;
• Intermediate knowledge of Excel or other spreadsheet tools and ERP;
• Ability to operate a forklift (preferred);
• Italian: Excellent written and spoken proficiency
• English: Upper-intermediate written and spoken proficiency

Work conditions

Working hours: 40 working hours per week

Contract type: Fixed-term contract of 6 months, initially, with the aim of moving to a permanent contract

Working set-up: 100% onsite

What we offer

Salary starting with 28.000 EUR gross/year, depending on seniority level.

The final salary offer will be determined based on gender-neutral, objective criteria, such as, but not limited to the experience and seniority level required for the role, as outlined in the job description. This will be further assessed during the technical interview.
