Senior Architect for the CMRE Enterprise
Location: Fully remote from EU, for CMRE in La Spezia (Italy)

Skills, Knowledge, Experience Required
- Proven proficiency in English (minimum C1 level certificate)
- At least 4 years of experience in the required field, demonstrated in the CV
- Previous expertise in similar projects, demonstrated in the CV
Duties/Role
- Design the future state enterprise architecture of CMRE by gathering needs from internal stakeholders and defining requirements for IT infrastructure and services.
- Use a phased approach involving key areas of CMRE business, including:
- Immersion: understanding existing IT landscape, workforce, processes, CIS, and NATO security requirements.
- Architecture Design: collaborating with business domains to propose a future IT infrastructure considering industry trends and current operations.
- Documentation: creating a High Level Architecture with logical and physical views, technologies, services, infrastructure requirements, and a roadmap for implementation.
- Encourage bidders to suggest their own methodologies that cover these phases conceptually.
The Contractor Shall
- Analyze existing IT landscape considering NATO standards and strategic plans.
- Analyze NATO CIS and security requirements.
- Engage with up to six groups representing CMRE business areas.
- Propose new ways of working based on industry best practices.
- Map business requirements.
- Develop a High Level Design (HLD) of the future IT architecture, ensuring compliance with NATO policies and international standards for confidentiality, integrity, and availability, including technology stack, network infrastructure, and capacity estimates.
- Define IT infrastructure and service requirements.
- Provide an implementation roadmap with work packages and dependency mapping for procurement purposes.
