JOB PURPOSE

We are seeking an IT Infrastructure Delivery Manager based in our Naples office, a major service delivery center for the Group.

This role offers the flexibility of smart working to promote work-life balance.

The IT Infrastructure Delivery Manager will report to the IT Senior Platforms Manager and will oversee planning, implementation, and delivery of IT infrastructure projects in our HQ data centers.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Lead infrastructure professionals in planning and executing data center projects.
• Assist in selecting appropriate data center solutions.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align data center infrastructure with organizational goals.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members.
• Manage the lifecycle of data center components: introduction, deployment, maintenance, and retirement.
• Oversee daily operations of data center components.
• Manage hardware deployment in data centers.
• Participate in capacity planning and resource forecasting for data center expansions.
• Define KPIs for data center components and ensure SLAs are met.
• Implement quality control processes to ensure infrastructure reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with vendors for procurement of hardware, software, and services.
• Manage budgets and contracts related to data center components.
• Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, procedures, and policies.
• Communicate effectively in English, both oral and written; additional languages are advantageous.
• Possess a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Have at least 8+ years of experience, including 3+ years as an Infrastructure Lead.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Hands-on experience with planning, designing, and implementing data center infrastructure, virtualization (VMWare), and automation tools.
• Experience with storage solutions such as PureStorage, HPE Alletra, EMC UNITY, and backup solutions like Cisco Hyperscale S3260 is a plus.
