b2x - The Omnichallenge Company is looking for motivated individuals to join projects as "IT functional analysts".

RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful applicant will be responsible for initiating, supervising and monitoring the development, launch, evolution and eventual maintenance of omnichannel platforms for the online sale of products. The successful applicant will have the task of analysing requests arriving from clients, and will collaborate with the PMO to create the work plan, and with the technical team leaders to prepare the architecture of the proposed solution and identify the most appropriate action to take, ensuring that the project is executed in accordance with the budget and times stipulated and agreed during the planning stage. They will also be responsible for planning activities and scheduling the resources of the Development Area on the various ongoing projects in accordance with their different priorities; reporting is directly to the COO.

RECRUITMENT PROCESS

The functional analyst selected will report directly to the COO, and will be immediately involved in ongoing and / or new company projects in order to acquire any necessary skills "in the field" by direct experience of the dynamics and business processes, as well as the specific needs of clients.

ACTIVITIES

  • Collection and analysis of client requirements, with the related definition of functional requirements, to be shared with the development team.
  • Definition of the possible solution by calculating the timings and costs of the proposed intervention and preparing the related supporting documentation.
  • Development of the project plan on the basis of the solution agreed with the client, and management of the main project stages (e.g. management of interface and interdependence between project streams, delivery times of agreed deliverables, analysis and any critical issues that may arise during development).
  • Control of software design, development and release, ensuring compliance with client requirements and contractual provisions, service-level agreements (SLAs) and quality objectives.
  • Collaboration with the Service Delivery Team to develop the solution release plan and project streams based on the priorities and deadlines of individual clients.
  • Coordination of the scheduling of IT resources for the different projects under development.
  • Involvement in the offer definition phase and interfacing with the relevant company areas to draft the estimate.
  • Highlighting not only critical issues that may arise during the execution of the project, but also possible developments from a strategic and business perspective.
  • Elaboration of use cases and test cases related to proposed and developed solutions.

REQUIREMENTS

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in the management and coordination (including technical / operational) of projects for the development and implementation of web portals or in Functional Analysis.
  • Experience in planning and / or design, development and delivery of projects.
  • Excellent analysis, management and monitoring skills throughout the project life cycle.
  • Specific knowledge of management of the various application and technological phases, with a particular focus on collating and addressing requirements in the subsequent development phases.
  • Knowledge and use of the major Office application packages in a Windows environment and Project Management tools.
  • Excellent written and spoken knowledge of the English language.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Previous experience on international projects is appreciated.
  • Willingness to travel within Italy is required where necessary for project needs.

    Pay grade and salary will be evaluated on the basis of the candidate's level.
