Job summary

Satispay in Lombardia, Italy is seeking an IT Engineer to keep devices, tools and access secure and running so teams can move fast and build great products.

You’ll automate, secure and simplify IT operations, handling automation workflows, SaaS admin, endpoint management, network and asset lifecycle with a focus on security and efficiency. This role blends hands-on IT support with strategic improvements.

This position offers a hybrid work setup and a starting salary of €32,000 gross per annum.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building and maintaining integrations with Make and n8n.
• Proven Tier 2 IT support experience and local network management.
• Strong user identity and access management across core tools like Google Workspace.
• Familiarity with modern MDM (Jamf, Knox) and EDR for threat mitigation.
• Solid IT asset management and ticket prioritisation methods.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain automation workflows to connect business systems.
• Triage, investigate and fix complex IT tickets beyond first-line support.
• Run and secure core cloud services (Google Workspace, Slack, Keeper).
• Configure and deploy devices via MDM platforms and monitor endpoint security.
• Manage hardware lifecycle from procurement to retirement and prioritise tickets by impact.
• Manage local network including Wi‑Fi, firewall and DNS to minimise outages.

What you’ll be doing

As our IT Engineer, you’ll be the person who keeps our devices, tools and access secure and running, so everyone can move fast and build great products.

You’ll treat IT operations as an enabler for the whole company, always looking to automate, secure and simplify.

Here’s what your day-to-day will look like:

• Process Automation - Build and maintain automation workflows with tools like n8n and Make, connecting our business systems and removing repetitive manual work.

• Support & Troubleshooting - Take on the complex tickets that go beyond first-line support: triage, investigate, fix.

• SaaS Administration - Run and secure our core cloud services (Google Workspace, Slack, Keeper), including onboarding, offboarding and security policies.

• Endpoint Management - Configure and deploy devices through MDM (mobile device management) platforms (Jamf, Knox, Google Workspace), and monitor endpoint security with EDR (endpoint detection and response) tools to stop threats early.

• IT Asset & Service Management - Manage hardware from purchase to retirement, and use our ITSM (IT service management) platform to prioritise tickets by business impact and SLAs (service level agreements).

• Network Management - Manage and troubleshoot our local network, including Wi-Fi, firewall and DNS, so we rely less on external providers during outages.

Who we’re looking for

This role needs someone passionate about technology and automation, who treats IT operations as a key enabler for the whole company, always looking for ways to optimize, secure, and streamline.

• Workflow Automation - Hands-on experience building and maintaining complex integrations with tools like Make and n8n.

• IT Operations - Proven experience in Tier 2 IT support and in managing local network infrastructure.

• Identity & Access Management - Strong skills in managing user identities and access across core business tools like Google Workspace.

• Endpoint & Security - Familiarity with modern MDM solutions (Jamf, Knox) and EDR tools for proactive threat mitigation.

• Hardware Lifecycle - Solid understanding of IT asset management and ticket prioritisation methods.

Initial salary: Starting from €32,000 gross per annum
