IT Business Analyst

G-nous is seeking a proactive and skilled Business Analyst to join our team supporting IT projects and service for our clients, including ESA (European Space Agency).

The Business Analyst will play a critical role acting as a bridge between the stakeholders and the development team, ensuring the successful delivery of IT solutions.

What you will do

• Work closely with G-nous business and technical team, participating in cross-functional team meetings and contributing to decision-making processes.
• Ensure continuous communication with clients’ stakeholders to plan the activities, and address any issues or changes.
• Engage in project analysis (technical/functional) throughout the lifecycle, including design, development and testing, to ensure the delivery of efficient and effective solutions.
• Translate business requirements into clear, detailed and testable functional specifications.
• Develop and maintain functional documentation, including process flow diagrams and use cases.
• Plan, organize, and execute projects, leveraging agile methodologies and using tools like Jira to drive team progress, facilitate communication and ensure successful project completion.

Who we’re looking for

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Analyst, ideally within the IT sector.
• Proven proficiency in working on IT projects focused on the development of digital products and Business Intelligence.
• Good English language skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both internal teams and client representatives.
• Experience with mapping business processes.
• Demonstrated expertise in Agile project management methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working in a consulting firm.
• Knowledge of needs assessment techniques.
• Experience in Business Intelligence (BI) and Analytics.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 suite (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, Power Automate).
