Job Description
Eurofins BioPharma Product Testing seeks an Application Support Specialist for the European Team, with multiple site locations available.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Support P1 to P4 issues, escalating to other teams and vendors as needed until resolution.
- Conduct quarterly audits and reviews of application logs and audit trails to ensure GxP compliance.
- Consult with vendors and educate end-users on best practices.
- Perform testing, patching, and routine maintenance of servers and PCs, including support for laboratory instruments.
- Participate in Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery tests.
- Manage incidents, changes, and problems following ITIL practices, coordinating with CSV, I/C teams, and lab QAs.
- Create documentation and a knowledge base for support staff and end-users.
- Provide application usage statistics and reports to management, ensuring SLAs are met.
- Test software updates/upgrades for compatibility before deployment.
- Offer technical training and guidance to lab staff.
- Support the Eurofins Cloud Migration Project and assist labs during this transition.
- Coordinate with departments to ensure timely completion of dependent tasks.
- Travel up to 10% across Europe may be required.
- Execute IQ, OQ, and PQ protocols onsite or remotely.
- Adapt between project and operational roles as needed, providing regular status updates.
Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- GxP, Data Integrity, and ITIL certifications are advantageous.
- At least 2 years of IT application support experience, preferably with Chromeleon CDS in a GxP environment.
- Understanding of application architecture and workflows.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Experience supporting applications in Windows and Cloud environments.
- Experience validating applications for GxP compliance.
- Knowledge of ITIL services and ServiceNow.
- Experience migrating laboratory applications across domains.

Working Conditions:
