IT Analyst (Hardware) (Expansion Project)

What you can expect

1. Specify functional, technical, and other requirements for the Expansion IT system landscape.
2. Collaborate on interfaces and integration requirements for the Expansion IT system landscape.
3. Specify infrastructure requirements for network, communication, and data center with a focus on scalability.
4. Assist in defining process landscapes, process flows, use cases including variations and exceptions within the project.
5. Support IT project planning, test planning, integration tests, and go-live activities of various IT systems.
6. Act as part of the IT project management team.

What you bring to the table

We are seeking an accurate, process-minded individual who can engage effectively with different project stakeholders. Experience in specifying and managing IT systems in a production environment, preferably in the port and terminal business, is required.

The IT Analyst will hold a high sense of responsibility, vital for supporting IT project management in the successful implementation of an automated Container Terminal in the Port of Trieste.

• Proficiency in English (Italian and/or German are a plus).
• At least 3+ years of experience in IT management, development, and specification.
• Experience with networking and data communication.
• Understanding of port and terminal processes and IT systems.
• Ability to work within an international team of port-related IT experts.
• Good communication skills and ability to take on a growing role.
• Process and logic-driven mindset with a deep understanding of IT methodologies.
• Degree in IT or a related field.

The ideal candidate should possess a valid EU working permit and be willing to relocate to Trieste at short notice.
