Overview

Grafton Retail & GDO, a dedicated team within Gi Group Spa, specializes in the retail and large distribution sectors. We support candidates in finding roles aligned with their skills and career goals. For a client in the GDO alimentare sector, we are seeking a:

Senior Gastronomy Inspector - GDO Alimentare

Role Responsibilities

• Support and supervise multiple retail outlets across Italy, ensuring performance and economic targets are met.
• Assist in implementing new processes and concepts, monitor commercial indicators such as turnover, inventory differences, margins, waste, and personnel costs.
• Manage personnel, organize schedules, and motivate staff.
• Oversee the management and coordination of gastronomic departments, including display, layout, and new openings.
• Collaborate daily with team members, store managers, and area supervisors to foster professional growth.
• Participate in staff recruitment and interview processes.
• Coordinate with headquarters regarding product restocking.
• Travel across Italy as required.

Candidate Profile

Requirements include:

• At least 5-6 years of experience in GDO alimentare as an Inspector or Department Head in Gastronomy, with in-depth knowledge of the sector.
• Strong team management, interpersonal skills, and problem-solving abilities.
• Goal-oriented with a passion for the sector.
• Managerial and operational aptitude.

Working Conditions

Full-time, 40 hours/week, 5 days a week.
