Job Description:

For a client company in the GDO food sector, we are recruiting:

Gastronomy Inspector - GDO Food Sector - Tuscany

As a Gastronomy Inspector, you will manage multiple points of sale in the Tuscany area and surrounding regions, supervising performance and economic objectives of these departments.

Responsibilities:

• Support stores in implementing new processes and concepts, and monitor commercial indicators such as turnover, inventory discrepancies, margins, waste, and personnel costs.
• Manage staff, including scheduling, control, and motivation.
• Coordinate the gastronomic departments, oversee display and maintenance of counters, and manage layouts for new openings.
• Work daily with department teams, Directors, and Area Managers, fostering professional growth and skill development.
• Participate in personnel selection and conduct interviews.
• Coordinate with head office regarding product restocking.
• Travel frequently within Tuscany, Umbria, and Romagna regions.

Candidate Requirements:

- Previous experience in the GDO food sector as an Inspector or Department Head in Gastronomy, with in-depth knowledge of the relevant product sector.

- Team management skills, good interpersonal skills, and problem-solving abilities.

- Strong goal orientation and passion for the sector.

- Aptitude for managerial and operational activities.

Work Details:

Full-time, 40 hours/week, 5 days a week.

Contract Offer:

• Permanent contract directly with the client company.
• Applicable to the CCNL DMO.
• Salary and benefits based on experience, including a company car, laptop, mobile phone, and annual MBO system.
