A leading eyewear and eyecare company is seeking a legal expert to support their Licensing and Colabs business. Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating licensing agreements and managing contracts. Candidates should possess a Law Degree and have at least 8 years of experience in a relevant field. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on innovation within the eyewear industry.

Competenze

  • 8 / 10 years in‑house experience at an international company and/or with a well‑known international law firm.

Your role

This position will support Licensing and Colabs business for contracts and legal advice globally, focusing in particular on drafting / reviewing and negotiating licensing, co-branding and product partnership contracts.

The candidate will mainly (i) partner with business development team in the negotiation of new collaborations and (ii) assist marketing team in the day‑by‑day activities, including contract management,

providing support to business divisions in the interpretation, performance and enforcement of existing contracts.

Competence in intellectual property law and expertise in IP contracts and practices in the fashion industry is a mandatory requirement. Expertise on products law and basic knowledge on distribution and competition matters are important requirements.

Main Responsibilities
  • Co‑branding and Product Collaborations contracts – Drafting / review and negotiation of brand license, co‑branding and product partnership contracts
  • Trademark License contracts – support day‑by‑day performance of contracts, legal advice on matters relating to existing licenses
  • Contract management – managing repository of documents, conducting comparative analysis of contract clauses to create templates and identify best practices
Main Requirements
  • Educational Background : Law Degree (within set time period), bar admission is a plus but not mandatory
  • 8 / 10 years in‑house experience at an international company and / or with a well‑known international law firm
  • Licensing : experience in drafting licensing and co‑branding contracts
  • Intellectual Property : knowledge of intellectual property law and IP contracts practices in the fashion industry
  • Product laws : knowledge of products law is a plus.
  • Personal skills : good interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management; ability to work in a team; accuracy, humility, passion, proactivity, flexibility. Strong organization skills and coordination capabilities, attention to details
