Job summary

DEKRA Italia is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst IoT in our Hardware Team. You will evaluate IoT systems, identifying hidden risks, vulnerabilities, and security flaws to ensure EN18031 compliance and safeguard against cybersecurity threats.

Responsibilities include penetration testing of embedded systems, analyzing hardware and firmware, and reporting findings. You will collaborate with compliance, development, and testing units in a multinational environment, with smart working two days per

Qualifications

2+ years hands-on experience in Embedded Systems, Electronics Design, or IoT Product.
Bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering, Telecommunications or equivalent technical/vocational degree in Electronics.
Proficiency in Linux-based operating systems and programming languages such as C/C++ (Python or Bash a plus).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

Conduct penetration testing and security assessments of IoT/embedded systems to identify risks and vulnerabilities.
Document findings in detailed technical reports addressing security risks and weaknesses.
Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and regulatory changes relevant to IoT systems.
Collaborate with compliance, development, and testing units to ensure a secure IoT environment.
