DEKRA Italia is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Analyst IoT in the Hardware Team to evaluate IoT systems, identify vulnerabilities, and ensure EN18031 compliance. You will conduct penetration testing on embedded devices and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a hybrid role based in Italy.

The position requires 2+ years in embedded or IoT design, a relevant technical degree, and strong English communication. Smart Working 2 days/week and health insurance are offered.

Competenze

• 2+ years hands-on experience in Embedded Systems, Electronics Design, or IoT Product
• Bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering, Telecommunications or equivalent technical/vocational degree in Electronics
• Circuit debugging and testing using lab tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, digital multimeters)
• Understanding of IoT protocols (Wi-Fi, ZigBee, MQTT)
• Experience with hardware communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART)
• Basic knowledge of secure hardware design and firmware protection
• Proficiency in Linux-based OS and programming languages such as C/C++
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Strong teamwork in an international environment
• Analytical and problem-solving skills

Mansioni

• Conduct penetration testing and security assessments of IoT and embedded systems aligned with cybersecurity standards to identify risks, vulnerabilities and weaknesses
• Document findings in a detailed technical report addressing security risks identified during evaluations
• Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities and regulatory changes relevant to IoT systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a secure IoT environment
