Job summary

3Bee, an Italian nature-tech company, is seeking a product leader for its IoT devices. You will own the roadmap for Hive-Tech, Spectrum, Birdy, and future generations, translating user needs into hardware, firmware, cloud, and app requirements while deciding AI deployment across edge and cloud.

The role requires delivering prototypes through field tests, certifications, production, and remote updates, with daily collaboration across IoT, lab, and vendors in a hybrid Milan-based setup.

Qualifications

• Experience as a product manager, product engineer, or similar role on hardware+software products.
• At least one connected device brought to production.
• Concrete experience designing AI features based on sensor data.
• Clear specifications and priorities with the courage to say no.
• Professional English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Define the IoT device roadmap and prioritize what to build.
• Translate customer/researcher needs into hardware/firmware/cloud/app requirements.
• Decide where to run AI (sensor/edge/cloud) balancing battery, cost and accuracy.
• Oversee prototype, field testing, certifications, production, and remote updates.
• Measure data, devices, recognition quality, and cost per installation.
• Collaborate daily with IoT team, lab, XNatura platform, and vendors.
