Job summary
3Bee, based in Milan, is seeking a product-oriented professional to drive the IoT device roadmap. You will translate customer and researcher needs into hardware, firmware, cloud, and apps requirements, and decide where AI runs—sensor, edge, or cloud—balancing battery life, cost, and accuracy.
You will lead the full lifecycle from prototype to production and remote updates, while measuring data, device health, and installation costs.
Qualifications
- Experience as a product manager or similar role on hardware+software products.
- At least one connected device brought to production.
- Concrete experience designing AI features: sensor data models, edge AI.
- Clear specifications and the courage to say no.
- Professional English.
Responsibilities
- Lead the IoT device roadmap (Hive-Tech, Spectrum, Birdy, next gen).
- Translate customer/research needs into hardware, firmware, cloud, and apps requirements.
- Decide AI deployment: on-sensor, edge, or cloud, balancing battery, cost, and accuracy.
- Oversee prototype, field testing, certifications, production, remote updates.
- Measure data, devices, recognition quality, and installation cost.
- Collaborate daily with IoT team, lab, XNatura platform, and vendors.
