A leading decarbonization company is seeking an IoT Energy Specialist based in Italy. This role involves supporting project delivery by configuring IoT devices, ensuring data quality, and implementing energy efficiency measures. Candidates should have a technical diploma or degree in engineering and experience in IoT/BMS. Strong knowledge of programming and scripts like Python is a plus, alongside fluency in Italian and good English skills.

Competenze

• Minimum of 2-3 years experience in IoT, BMS, or Energy Management System.
• Familiarity with energy efficiency measures and project maintenance.

Mansioni

• Support the Delivery Lead with technical due diligence and project design.
• Configure EDGE devices and onboard datapoints from sensors and BMS.
• Check data correctness and configure front-end views.
• Identify energy efficiency measures and maintain project data.

BMS programming

Scripting capabilities (Python, Lua, JavaScript)

Responsibilities :

o Support the Delivery Lead to

o performing technical due diligence

o design project solution

o draft technical solution

o identify missing items and remediation plan

o define preliminary and executive project timeline

Setup EnOS projects, including :

o Configuration of EDGE device

o Onboard datapoints from sensors and BMS

o Check data correctness

o Configuration of device mapping and alarm

o Configuration of front-end view

o Final check and project validation

Implementation of Univers AI-IoT projects, including :

o UAT and project handover

o Identification and implementation of energy efficiency measures

o Project maintenance

o Periodical check of collected data

o Deep technical investigation in case of alarm and abnormal values

o Proposing updates of the system to the supervisor

Qualifications & Experience :

o Technical Diploma, Degree in Engineering is a plus

o Minimum of 2-3 years experience in IoT and / or BMS and / or Energy Management System (EMS) is required.

o Knowledge of the most common field protocols (Modbus, BACnet, …)

o Knowledge of BMS programming is considered essential.

o Familiarity with scripting or programming capabilities for customization and automation tasks (e.g., Python, Lua, JavaScript or similar) Is considered a plus

o Efficient in Office suite

o Italian mother-tongue

o Good knowledge of English
