A leading decarbonization solutions company is seeking an IoT Energy Specialist based in Italy. In this role, you will support project delivery through technical due diligence, project setup, and ongoing maintenance of energy monitoring systems. Ideal candidates should have 2-3 years of experience in IoT and Energy Management, along with programming knowledge. This position offers a chance to contribute to sustainability efforts while working with cutting-edge technology.

Competenze

Job Title: IoT Energy Specialist, Europe (based in Italy)

Responsibilities:

1. Support the Delivery Lead in:

• Performing technical due diligence
• Designing project solutions
• Drafting technical solutions
• Identifying missing items and remediation plans
• Defining preliminary and executive project timelines

Set up EnOS projects, including:

• Configuration of EDGE devices
• Onboarding datapoints from sensors and BMS
• Checking data correctness
• Configuring device mapping and alarms
• Configuring front-end views
• Final check and project validation

Implement Univers AI-IoT projects, including:

• UAT and project handover
• Identifying and implementing energy efficiency measures
• Project maintenance
• Periodic checks of collected data
• Deep technical investigations in case of alarms and abnormal values
• Proposing system updates to the supervisor

Project maintenance (repeated):

• Periodic data checks
• Technical investigations for alarms
• System update proposals

Qualifications & Experience:

• Technical Diploma or Degree in Engineering is a plus
• Minimum of 2-3 years experience in IoT, BMS, and/or Energy Management Systems (EMS)
• Knowledge of common field protocols (Modbus, BACnet, etc.)
• Knowledge of BMS programming is essential
• Familiarity with scripting or programming (e.g., Python, Lua, JavaScript) is a plus
• Proficient in Office suite
• Italian mother tongue
• Good knowledge of English
