YOUR ROLE

We are looking for a motivated Master’s student in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar curricula, for a 6-month internship.

You will join an advanced R&D Security team to investigate the ARM Helium technology, defined by the ARMv8.1-M architecture, and evaluate how it can accelerate cryptographic algorithms on ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers.

Your work will involve analysis, experimentation (on STM32 MCUs), and performance evaluation to identify the most suitable algorithms and optimization opportunities.

Your Skills & Experiences

• Master's degree on going looking for thesis or Master graduated in computer science, Computer Engineering or similar
• Interest in embedded systems and microcontrollers (past experience with MCUs is a plus)
• Proficiency in C for SW programming (minimal experience with ARM Assembly is a plus)
• Basic knowledge of cryptography and/or performance optimization is a plus
• Analytical mindset, curiosity, and ability to work independently
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn in a research-oriented environment
• English proficiency
